About

Jenny Schwartz

With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I offer a compassionate and supportive space where you can explore life's challenges and discover meaningful solutions. I specialize in working with adults and older adults facing issues such as anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of major life transitions.

My approach to therapy is relational and eclectic, rooted in the belief that healing begins with a trusting, respectful connection. I tailor my work to each individual, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to find the right fit for you. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which can be especially effective for processing trauma and deep emotional pain.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work in 2003 and have worked in diverse settings including community centers, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and private practice. Since moving to North Carolina in 2012, I’ve enjoyed being active, going to the movies, and sharing good food with friends and family.

Life can be overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to face it alone. I'm here to help you navigate the changes, understand yourself more deeply, and move toward a place of resilience and well-being.
